Sue Melvin

Sue Melvin has been a conductor for 25 years and is an active vocal and performance coach, and educator, for choral singers and ensembles.  She's been singing organized  a cappella since she was a child and is a second-generation Barbershop singer. As a quartet singer, Sue has earned many medals, both in Sweet Adelines International and Harmony Incorporated, and has competed internationally multiple times and in 3 different voice parts. 

In addition to years of experience educating singers on vocal skills and musical subjects, Sue's professional background as a Vice President for JPMorgan Chase brings many strengths in project management, organizational and leadership effectiveness, successful marketing/PR and more.

She serves on the board of the Greater Rochester Choral Consortium as Education Coordinator, as well as the Lake Ontario Region 16 Sweet Adelines Regional Management Team as Team Coordinator.  Sue is also a proud member of the Limestone City Voices Chorus, and wife to Greg, mother to Troy and Diana and Nana to little
Grace and Grant.

 
In Sue's words, her mission is "to help choral singers become the best perfomers they can be."
